Fetal Reduction

Fetal reduction is a procedure that may be considered in cases of multiple pregnancies (e.g., twins, triplets) to reduce the number of fetuses. It is performed when the health of the mother or the remaining fetuses is at risk.

Fetal Malformation Scan

This scan aims to detect any physical abnormalities or birth defects in the growing fetus. It’s usually performed in the second trimester of pregnancy and helps ensure the baby’s development is on track.

Nuchal Translucency (NT Scan)

The NT scan measures the thickness of a specific area at the back of the baby’s neck. It’s typically done in the first trimester and is a crucial part of screening for Down syndrome and other genetic conditions.

Anomaly and Fetal Well-being Scan

This scan is performed in the mid-to-late stages of pregnancy to check for any unusual or abnormal features in the baby and to ensure that the baby is healthy and growing as expected.

Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)

CVS is a diagnostic test performed early in pregnancy to assess the baby’s genetic makeup. It involves collecting a small sample of placental tissue to check for chromosomal abnormalities.

Amniocentesis

Amniocentesis is another diagnostic test, usually performed in the second trimester. It involves collecting a sample of the amniotic fluid surrounding the baby to detect chromosomal abnormalities and certain genetic disorders.

First Trimester Screening for Aneuploidies and Structural Defects

This early pregnancy test checks for chromosomal abnormalities and certain structural issues in the developing baby. It typically takes place in the first three months of pregnancy to provide important information about your baby’s health.
